Owner Operators – Cargo/Sprinter Vans Jobs in Cleveland, OH at Creekside Cargo Inc.
Currently we are looking to add on up to 3 more units to keep up with current demand in our Courier & Expedited Division.
We have local/regional runs up to 600 mi, as well as over the road (OTR) runs. We run general, non-hazards freight, point-to-point. Your sprinter/van must hold 2500 lbs. or more, be at least 100″ long, be 8 years old or newer and have straps to secure freight. You must have a minimum of 1M commercial liability insurance, and 100K cargo insurance.
You need a smart phone, GPS, common sense, good driver MVR and all weather driving abilities to transport freight safely. Prior experience in this mode of transportation is a plus.
Must be 24 years or older.
Responsibilities
Operate cargo and sprinter vans to deliver goods efficiently and safely.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
