Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and be capable of operating various types of vehicles including tankers, refrigerated trailers, and dump trucks. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while delivering freight across designated routes.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain assigned vehicles including tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations while maintaining high standards of safety.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or any issues encountered during delivery.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide excellent customer service during interactions at delivery sites.
Experience
Proven experience as an Owner Operator Driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices.
Experience operating tankers, refrigerated trailers, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, or similar vehicles is preferred.
Familiarity with route planning and navigation systems.
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in freight transportation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
