Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards of customer service. As an Owner Operator, you will manage your own vehicle and ensure compliance with all regulations and safety protocols. This position requires a strong commitment to reliability and professionalism in all aspects of driving.
Responsibilities
Operate various types of commercial vehicles including tankers, dump trucks, and refrigerated trailers.
Execute timely deliveries while adhering to assigned routes.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including freight documentation and logs.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Utilize manual transmission vehicles as required for specific routes.
Operate forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading cargo.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle to uphold company standards.
Experience
Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
Experience in route driving with a focus on freight delivery is preferred.
Familiarity with operating tankers, dump trucks, or refrigerated trailers is a plus.
Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transportation and freight handling.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
