Overview
We are seeking a dedicated (OWNER OPERATORS & SKILLED TRUCK DRIVERS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, freight handling, and vehicle maintenance. Candidates with trucks, are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Operate and drive tractor-trailers.
Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations while adhering to all safety regulations.
Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of all items.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes taken, and any incidents that occur during transport.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to transportation safety and compliance.
Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL CLASS A) at least (1 year) of experience preferred.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with a strong understanding of route driving.
Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading cargo is a plus.
Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to company policies regarding safety.
