Responsibilities
Operate a Class A CDL truck to transport goods on consistent dry van round trips to Chicago.
Ensure safe and efficient driving practices while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload freight as required, utilizing forklifts and other equipment when necessary.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo details.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate deliveries.
