Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in truck driving. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service as you transport freight across designated routes.
Responsibilites
Operate and drive a variety of trucks including Box trucks and hot shots
Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload freight safely and securely, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and maintenance records.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Demonstrate proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles as required.
Qualifications
Ability to load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment.
Strong understanding of route navigation and delivery processes.
Excellent driving record with no major violations.
Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
Strong communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
