Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various routes while ensuring the safety and timely delivery of freight. As an Owner Operator, you will manage your own vehicle and operate under your own authority, providing a vital service in the logistics and transportation industry.
Duties
Drive various types of vehicles including flatbed, tanker, tractor-trailer, and refrigerated trailers to transport freight.
Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Plan and follow optimal routes for timely deliveries.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other necessary documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Operate manual transmission vehicles as required.
Experience
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
Experience with flatbed, tanker, tractor-trailer, or refrigerated trailer operations is preferred.
Familiarity with load unloading procedures and freight handling is essential.
Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
Ability to operate vehicles equipped with manual transmission.
