The main responsibilities of the position is to:
To have the ability to manage the operation of the entire operational process from the exit to the delivery of the Import shipments.
Organizing all transportation activities with related shipments
Taking reservations, entering the system, issuing invoices
Contacting domestic / foreign customs and agencies and making loading / unloading organizations
Loading vehicles at maximum efficiency / occupancy
Keeping in touch with suppliers and tracking the load
Making weekly reports and invoicing
Sub-supply management and portfolio development
Keeping in touch with customers and keeping them informed
Selling to customers when needed
Preparing, presenting and filing periodic reports to management
Fulfillment of daily operational tasks assigned by the department manager
Job Requirements
Graduated from the relevant departments of universities (International Logistics, Foreign Trade, etc.)
At least 5 years operation experience of Overland Freight in a Freight Forwarding/Logistics company
Residing in the regions of Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Adana, and Mersin.
Excellent knowledge of the English- speaking and writing
Good knowledge of MS Office tools
Excellent relationship with suppliers.
Having analytical approach, being business & customer oriented
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
