DZ DRIVER TRUCK TRANSFER AND MAINTENANCE HELPER-
OTTAWA EAST & WEST YARDS
Locations:145 Walgreen Rd, Carp, Ontario
Position Type:Full-Time Permanent
Reporting:Shop Foreperson
Hours:Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 12:00am
Rate:$25.50 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Must adhere to Miller Waste Systemsafety protocolsand must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.
The transfer of all Company vehicles to and from various locations.
Will be required to do minor repair and road test equipment, as per shop needs.
Will be required to conduct vehicle maintenance according to established MWS policies and procedures.
Maintain all required records and files for vehicle maintenance.
Conduct on-road delivering of goods, parts, equipment pick up and drop off, as required.
Requirements:
Must have at least a valid ‘DZ’ Driver’s Licence.
Successful candidates must be mechanically inclined.
Must be able to help with residential and commercial collections, when needed.
Ability to showcase knowledge and experience in repairing equipment systems.
Ability to meet deadlines in afast-paced environmentand work in ateam environment.
Must be available to work late when trucks are behind schedule, as well as weekends and holidays, if required.
