We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. As an Owner Operator, you will utilize your own truck to deliver goods across various routes, ensuring timely and secure delivery to our clients.
Duties
Operate a variety of trucks including dump trucks, tankers, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers to transport freight.
Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transit.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving on the road.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a truck driver with knowledge of operating various types of trucks including manual transmission vehicles.
Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures for different types of freight.
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving and freight transportation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and dispatch teams.
Previous experience in roles such as delivery driver or freight transport is preferred.
