OTR Class A Hot Shot driver Jobs in Aurora, CO at SOL Transportation
We’re hiring motivated and reliable Class A Hotshot OTR Company Drivers to join our transportation team. This position involves operating company-owned 1-ton pickup trucks with gooseneck trailers to deliver expedited freight nationwide. Key Responsibilities:
Operate a company-provided 1-ton truck and gooseneck trailer to transport time-sensitive loads
Drive regional and cross-country routes (typically 10–21 days out at a time)
Secure loads using chains, straps, and tarps when required
Follow all DOT and company safety standards
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
Maintain accurate logbooks using ELD systems
Represent the company professionally at pickup and delivery locations
Requirements:
Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in the past 3 years)
At least 1 year of verifiable CDL-A driving experience (hotshot or flatbed experience a plus)
Must pass DOT drug test and physical
Familiarity with load securement and DOT regulations
Must be willing to be on the road for 1–3 weeks at a time
Strong work ethic, reliability, and good communication skills
