Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an OTR (Over-the-Road) Box Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, adhering to traffic and DOT regulations, and ensuring timely deliveries. Duties
- Safely operate a box truck for local and regional deliveries, following all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices ( depends on load- most loads are NOT driver assist)
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition.
- Manage delivery documentation accurately, including delivery manifests and route sheets.
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Use mobile devices or GPS systems to navigate routes efficiently and stay updated on delivery schedules.
- Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including moving goods within the warehouse using manual handling equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or courier roles is highly preferred.
- Warehouse experience involving material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
- Familiarity with Commercial vehicles and Truck driving handling techniques is beneficial.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during route driving.
- Proven track record of providing excellent customer service in delivery or courier roles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or vans is required.

Pay: $1,200.00 – $19,000.00 per week
