ProspectBlue is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee key operations and drive our service center’s success in Miami, Florida! This is a night shift!
Job Description: As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the Dock, P&D, and Road departments. You will ensure operational efficiency, maintain safety standards, and drive team performance to meet service and productivity goals. This role requires a strong leader who can manage teams, handle logistics, and maintain a focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, organize, and direct employees within assigned operations, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
Oversee and implement security and loss prevention procedures to safeguard company assets.
Develop and enforce safety protocols in compliance with Company, OSHA, and DOT guidelines.
Create and implement action plans to achieve service center targets, including productivity, load average, cube utilization, and service levels.
Collaborate with Central Dispatch to plan and execute an effective linehaul strategy to move freight efficiently and within Company standards.
Schedule employees in alignment with hours planning, company-run bid processes, and service requirements.
