Role Description The Operations Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Damietta, responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations and workflow efficiency. This role includes supervising operations staff, coordinating shipments, monitoring cargo handling, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, including procedures related to hazardous materials. The Operations Supervisor will manage scheduling, resource allocation, and documentation to support timely, cost-effective deliveries and high service quality. The role also involves analyzing operational performance, resolving issues, optimizing processes, and maintaining clear communication with internal teams, partners, and customers about shipment status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead teams, assign tasks, provide guidance, and support performance management.
- Candidates should possess solid Operations and Operations Management skills to oversee daily logistics processes, coordinate activities, and ensure service quality.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify issues, optimize workflows, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with teams, partners, and customers, and to prepare clear reports and documentation.
- Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, preferably in an international or hazardous materials environment.
- Working knowledge of logistics systems, documentation standards, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in Damietta, handle operational pressures, and adapt to changing priorities.
- A relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred.
