Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our freight forwarding operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in LCL, FCL, import and export operations, and experience working with WCA network partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations for import and export shipments.
- Handle LCL, FCL, Air Freight, and Cross Trade shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs brokers, and overseas agents.
- Manage and develop relationships with WCA agents and international partners.
- Ensure timely shipment execution and high customer service standards.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Supervise the operations team and ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and UAE regulations.
- Work closely with the sales and pricing teams to support business growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding operations.
- Strong knowledge of LCL, FCL, Import & Export, Air Freight, and WCA network operations.
- Good understanding of shipping documentation and customs procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office.
