We’re hiring an Operations Excellence Specialist – Europe & Canada
Atlantic Gate is looking for an Operations Excellence Specialist to support sustainable process development across the region, based in Genoa, Italy.
Your Responsibilities
- Process Management & Governance
- Define, implement and monitor operational processes across Europe and Canada
- Maintain and continuously improve operations manuals, guidelines and governance standards
- Support decision-making on operational and compliance-related matters
- Training & Enablement
- Deliver system, process and refresher trainings
- Identify training needs based on deviations, process changes or quality issues
- Ensure consistent process understanding across all locations
- Digitalisation & TMS Management
- Manage and support TMS-related topics and complex cases
- Validate system requests within defined authority levels
- Drive digital initiatives to improve efficiency, cost and data quality
- Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor compliance with quality standards and KPIs
- Identify, track and resolve process and quality deviations
- Lead improvement initiatives using DMAIC methodology
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement
Your Profile
- Professional Qualifications
- Apprenticeship in freight forwarding or degree in Business Administration / Process Management
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in operations, customer care or inside sales within freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of logistics products (sea freight, air freight, intermodal)
- Experience with MS O365 and TMS systems (Power BI is a plus)
- International exposure is an advantage

- Ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively

- Fluent in English
