We’re Immediately Hiring! Operations Coordinator– Shipping & Logistics (UAE)
Are you an experienced Operations Coordinator with a good background in shipping, logistics, and import/export operations? Do you have in-depth knowledge of the rules and regulations governing the UAE’s import/export sector? We want to hear from you!
About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team in the shipping and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing import/export operations, navigating UAE customs and shipping regulations, and ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day shipping and logistics operations, focusing on the import and export processes within the UAE.
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of shipping documentation, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate and track shipments from origin to destination, optimizing routes to reduce costs where possible.
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs authorities to ensure compliance with UAE import/export laws.
Knowledge of Mirsal 2, DP World, Dubai Trade, UAE customs rules, tariffs, taxes, and import/export restrictions.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in shipping and logistics operations, specifically within the UAE’s import/export sector.
Experience in UAE customs regulations, including familiarity with Calogi, ACS (SAS Portal), EK system, ADM bookings, and the Dubai Trade portal.
Dangerous Goods Certification (e.g., IATA, IMDG) is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
Proficiency in logistics software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
