Role Description The Operations Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Erbil, responsible for supporting day-to-day logistics and freight forwarding operations. This role coordinates shipments across land, sea, air, and groupage services, ensuring accurate documentation, scheduling, and communication with carriers, suppliers, and customers. The Operations Coordinator tracks cargo status, updates internal systems, and proactively resolves operational issues to maintain service quality and timely delivery. They assist with customs clearance processes, verify compliance with regulations, and collaborate with the team to optimize workflows and operational efficiency. The role also involves preparing reports, maintaining records, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in line with the company’s standards of operational excellence.
Qualifications

  • Strong logistics and operations coordination skills, including experience with freight forwarding and shipment tracking.
  • Knowledge of land, sea, air, and groupage (LCL/LTL) transport processes and basic customs clearance procedures.
  • Proficiency in using office software and logistics-related systems for documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Erbil, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transport coordination is an advantage; proficiency in English and local languages is beneficial.
