Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operation & Logistics Executive located in the Yangon Region, Myanmar. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations, managing supply chain processes, ensuring effective communication with customers, and supporting sales activities. Tasks include coordinating shipments, handling customer inquiries, optimizing logistics solutions, and collaborating with various internal departments to ensure seamless logistical operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
· Prepare/anticipate call operations
o Generate discharge list from MACS3 and share to relevant parties (husbandry agent, terminal, depot, GBS).
o Generate load list for both own & partner for the purpose of prestow (AGW) preparation.
o Validate port call draft in PRS system within timeline.
o Prepare expected loading list for own and partner boxes for Husbandry agent to apply customs loading permission.
· Follow up operations
o Coordinate with husbandry agent to validate PRS report (Arrival, Progress and Departure).
o After vessel departure, collect TPFREP, load list and bayplan from terminal
o Create and send the final load list to all concerned parties.
o Coordinate with SSC PCR team for PCR, TPFOR creation, and RFI provision.
o Analyze discrepancies and request updates within 5 days post-ETD.
o Support SSC PCR team with necessary documents.
o Ensure timely closure of PCR and TPFOR reports.
o Create SDC/SLC within 6 hours post-vessel departure.
· Reporting
o Generate discharge lists, final loading lists, and PRS reports.
o Provide RFI for PCR/TPFOR and track container movements.
o Report special issues to management.
Logistics
· Manage Maintenance & Repair
o Validate repair estimates within the agency approval limit / escalate ARO for exceeding limit.
o Regular checking repair pending / idle containers in depot and taking action to clear.
o Ensure repair costs are in compliance with damage conditions and M&R tariff.
o Control quality of repair carried out by depots to comply with CMA M&R criteria.
o Assist Senior with depot survey / audit.
· Forecast & Manage Stock
o Consolidate data from daily depot/terminal inventory and gate-in/out repot, weekly booking forecast, T/S import stock (by checking LCR11 report and GAIA and booking list in PCO system).
o Manual update daily inventory in excel file for local container inventory record.
o Sending require documents/reports to partner and local stakeholders.
o Create SIPA for all empty moves.
o Notify full Idle stock to import desk for their awareness and taking action.
o Assist Senior to provide GOH fibrication by dealing with customer and vendor.
· Maintain Tracking Quality
o Coordinate with GBS team to follow up EDI suspense in LARA to clear in time.
o Trace & track pending container movement status in coordination with terminal, depot and GBS.
o Support GBS to keep tracking quality and provide RFI if needed.
· Intermodal Service
o Book transport service.
o Dispatch / create Transport Order (TO) in LARA system for full and empty transportation.
o Optimise / follow up Transport.
o Control the quality / performance of the services delivered by suppliers.
· Support Logistics Activities
o Assist senior with preparation of GOH booking to seek ARO approval and to send information to vendor.
o Support senior with require information / preparation.
· Reporting
o PRS (Port Reporting System), PCR (Port Call Report), TPFOR (Third Party Feeder Operation Report), CPR (Container Projection Report)
o Reporting to Manager for the special issue
Requirements And Specific Skills:
- Any graduate with relevant work experience
- Previous experience in a similar role or internship within operations and logistics is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
