📍 Location: Shah Alam
New Sign Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd is a well-established Malaysian logistics company with operations across Malaysia and Singapore. As part of our growing operations team, we are looking for a Trucking Operations Executive to manage daily trucking activities and coordinate closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
🔹 Job Responsibilities
Trucking & Operations Coordination
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily trucking operations
- Manage and coordinate 20–25 drivers and assigned vehicles
- Arrange trucking based on customer requirements and delivery schedules
- Monitor trip progress and resolve operational issues (delay, breakdown, route changes)
Driver Management
- Communicate trip details, routes, and instructions to drivers
- Prepare and manage driver trip allowances and advances
- Monitor driver attendance, performance, and trip completion
- Ensure drivers comply with company SOPs and safety regulations
Customer & Team Coordination
- Liaise with customers on delivery schedules, updates, and operational matters
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, admin) for smooth execution
- Handle customer inquiries and support service recovery when required
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain diesel/fuel consumption reports
- Maintain trip sheets, delivery orders, PODs, and related documents
- Track operating costs and support monthly operations reporting
Additional Responsibilities
- Monitor vehicle utilization and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies
- Assist management with operational improvements and cost-control initiatives
🔹 Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field
- 2–5 years experience in trucking or logistics operations
- Experience managing drivers and daily trip planning
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Familiar with diesel reporting, trip costing, and basic Excel
- Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
