Jouw kansen
Commercial Producing Professional
Genereer nieuwe business, beheer klantrelaties en plaats op maat gemaakte verzekeringsoplossingen.
Broker / Placing Specialist
Onderhandel met verzekeraars, structureer concurrerende polissen en lever hoogwaardige service aan onze klanten.
Claims Manager / Claims Handling Expert
Begeleid klanten tijdens het schadeproces, zorg voor efficiënte en zorgvuldige afwikkeling en behartig hun belangen gedurende het hele traject.
Over jou
Opleiding en/of ervaring
Een relevante hbo-opleiding (Bachelor of Applied Sciences) in Verzekeringen, Risk Management, Bedrijfskunde, Rechten, Finance, Logistiek of Maritieme Studies;
en/of werkervaring in verzekeringsmakelaardij of schadebehandeling, bij voorkeur in scheepvaart, lading, transport, logistiek, energie of offshore.
Vaardigheden
Sterk analytisch vermogen, zelfverzekerde onderhandelingsvaardigheden en goed beoordelingsvermogen bij het omgaan met complexe en vaak tijdkritische risicosituaties. Kennis van verzekeringsrecht en relevante regelgeving is een sterke pré en ondersteunt hoogwaardig klantadvies en besluitvorming.
Talen
Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels en Nederlands. Duits is een pré.
Relevante certificeringen
Afhankelijk van rol en locatie zijn de volgende certificeringen van toepassing. Wij ondersteunen professionals actief bij het behalen hiervan.
Voor Brokerage- en Commercial Producing-rollen in Rotterdam:
WFT Basis en WFT Schade Zakelijk (of bereidheid deze te behalen).
Voor Brokerage- en Commercial Producing-rollen in Hamburg:
Geprüfte/r Fachmann/-frau für Versicherungsvermittlung (IHK) of een gelijkwaardige kwalificatie (of bereidheid deze te behalen).
Certificeringen zijn niet vereist voor Claims-rollen.

Guide clients through claims processes, ensure efficient and careful settlements, and safeguard their interests throughout.
About You
Education and/or Experience
A relevant HBO degree (Bachelor of Applied Sciences) in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, Law, Finance, Logistics, or Maritime Studies;
and/or professional experience in insurance brokerage or claims handling, preferably in shipping, cargo, transport, logistics, energy, or offshore.
Skills
Strong analytical capabilities, confident negotiation skills, and sound judgment when navigating complex and often time‑sensitive risk scenarios. Familiarity with insurance law and regulatory frameworks is a strong advantage and supports high‑quality client advice and decision‑making.
Languages
Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch; German is a plus.
Relevant Certifications
Depending on role and location, the following certifications apply. We actively support professionals who are willing to obtain them.
- For Rotterdam-based Brokerage and Commercial Producing roles: WFT Basis and WFT Schade Zakelijk (or willingness to obtain these certifications).
- For Hamburg-based Brokerage and Commercial Producing roles: Geprüfte/r Fachmann/-frau für Versicherungsvermittlung (IHK) or an equivalent qualification (or willingness to obtain).
Certifications are not required for Claims roles.
