Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Freight Team Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our store is well-stocked and organized, providing excellent service to our customers. You will be responsible for receiving, processing, and stocking freight while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This position requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting.
Duties
Receive and unload freight shipments accurately and efficiently.
Organize stock in the backroom and on the sales floor to maximize space and accessibility.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely restocking of shelves.
Assist customers with inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stock area and sales floor.
Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management.
Handle cash register operations as needed, ensuring accurate cash handling.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience.
Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when addressing customer calls.
Experience
Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
Skills in supervising team members or collaborating effectively within a team are highly valued.
Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures is beneficial.
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on collaboration and communication.
Basic understanding of retail math concepts to assist with inventory tasks.

Pay: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour
