Ocean Operation Specialist Jobs in Walnut, CA at CTS Global Supply Chain Solutions
As an Ocean Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening relationships with our existing clients through daily phone and email communication. Your responsibilities will include:
Shipment Tracking: Monitor and track shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Coordination: Liaise with carriers, overseas partners, and other vendors to ensure smooth and efficient shipment operations.
Documentation Management: Prepare and manage necessary documentation, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
Data Entry: Input relevant shipment data into our operations system, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of all records.
Arrival Notices: Issue Arrival Notices to clients, keeping them informed of shipment status.
Invoicing & Billing: Oversee the invoicing and billing process, ensuring all charges are correctly applied and processed in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Compliance: Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal procedures.
Responsibilities:
Communicate daily with existing clients via phone and email.
Track shipments and coordinate with carriers, truckers, overseas partners, and other related vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Create and confirm all necessary documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Input data into the CargoWise system.
Create and send Arrival Notices.
Complete the invoice and billing process.
Comply with all applicable regulations.
Requirements:
1+ years’ experience in Ocean import and export Freight Forwarding and CargoWise is a plus.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsible and detail-oriented.
Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
Bilingual in Chinese is a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
