Ocean Import Manager – Now Hiring!
Location: Carson, CA
Salary: $80K–$90K
Language: English only
Work Schedule: On-site, 5 days/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the Ocean Import Department
- Oversee daily ocean import operations
- Coordinate with customers, overseas offices, agents, vendors, and carriers
- Review import documentation and ensure customs compliance
- Negotiate services and rates with vendors and carriers
- Manage, train, and mentor team members
- Monitor billing, freight payments, and department performance
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of related experience
- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong English communication skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- CargoWise experience preferred
