We are seeking an Ocean Import Freight Forwarder to join our dynamic client, focusing on the defense and aerospace industries. This position requires proficiency in handling and forwarding air freight, specifically airplane parts.
Air Export Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the transportation of airplane parts via air freight.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and international regulations regarding aerospace shipments.
- Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
- Manage documentation and inventory related to air shipments.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the freight process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in air freight forwarding, particularly within the defense and aerospace sectors.
- Familiarity with operational procedures of air freight logistics for airplane parts.
- Previous employment with Bolloré Logistics or direct competitors strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- CargoWise experience a plus!
