Who we are:
Paramount Logistics is a licensed/US DOT certified Motor Carrier. We are affiliated with all major logistics entities, such as Steamship Lines, Long Beach and Los Angeles harbors, and CFS facilities. We offer full import & export drayage transportation solutions for containerized cargo arriving to or departing from Los Angeles & Long Beach ports.
Daily duty:
Receive A/N and delivery order with data entry
Track shipment from SSL & Terminal on releasing status, and CBP exam if any
Provide shipment update to the customer – shipper and consignee
Coordinate with dispatcher and receiver to arrange the delivery, with troubleshooting issues in a timely manner
Prepare and review freight invoice with proper documents
Process incoming and outgoing shipments
Communicate with customers while providing exceptional customer service
Request quotations for shipments, schedule trucking deliveries
Keep accurate shipment records
Utilize own research, relationships, experience, problem-solving, and analytical skills to bring in potential customers
Other duties assigned by team leader
Requirement:
Basic computer skills (E-mail, Web browsing, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word)
Fluency in English (Verbal & Written), Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is a plus
Excellence customer service with troubleshooting ability
Minimum 1 year in Intermodal shipping (Prefer)
