Position Title: Ocean Import Clerk
Location: Burlingame, CA
Work Schedule: M-F, 9:00AM – 6:00PM
Qualifications
Good communication skills and typing skills
Multi-tasking, detail-oriented, and team player essential.
Prior freight forwarding and/or logistics experience a plus.
College degree is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
Arrange & follow up with shipment coordination & daily communication with customers & overseas offices
Prepare & handle all required import shipping, arrival notice, & customs documentation
Arrange trucking order, issue invoices, prepare documents, filing etc.
Billing and shipment filing
Compliance of all transportation & security regulations, including customer’s policies and external government regulations
Monitor shipment for delivery schedule on timely basis
Established, supervised and continuously improved import /export process flows in conformance with rules, procedures and company policy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour
