Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ocean Export Specialist to join our logistics team. This role is essential in managing the export process for ocean freight shipments, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in operations of ocean export.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the export process for ocean freight shipments from start to finish.
Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and export permits.
Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and any discrepancies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Ocean export operations (worked before for an NVO or a shipping line).
Familiar with the shipping lines (Maersk, MSC, CMA, Hapag, Zim, YML, EGL, and so on).
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Pay: $42,000.00 – $49,000.00 per year
