Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to join our team. This role serves as a lead operator, ideal for someone looking to expand their skills and grow into an owner-operator role in the future. This is an independent contractor position. You will receive 25% of the booked loads weekly which increases if you are capable of self dispatching high quality loads or obtain dedicated lanes. Must be professional driven, responsible, meticulous with integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 26ft box truck for regional or interstate deliveries
Maintain accurate trip logs and inspection checklists
Communicate regularly with dispatch for updates and routing
Load and unload cargo as needed; secure freight properly
Represent MyLyfe Express with professionalism at all delivery locations
Learn the basics of dispatching and load booking (training provided)
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience driving box trucks (Non-CDL required)
Prior experience with load boards or dispatching is a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols
Basic mechanical understanding of trucks (daily inspections, troubleshooting)
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
