Dedicated Logistic Solutions is looking for an experienced Employee Drivers to join their Oklahoma City, OK team in a dynamic and growing company. Must have a clean MVR, be able to drive a 26′ Box Truck, be able to lift 50 lbs., be able to scan freight and use GPS efficiently. Current position is Full Time from Monday Night through Saturday Morning, start time is 10:30 pm, end time is when all deliveries have been completed and returns brought back to DLS.
Required Skills:
Education – High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
At least 1 – 3 years of Driver / Delivery Experience.
Preferably 1 year of Transportation/Logistic experience
Excellent time management, ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work.
Reliable attendance and punctuality
A positive, motivated, can-do attitude to excel beyond expectations
Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
Customer service approach with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
Ability to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Job Description:
Loading / Unloading Freight
Scanning Freight at multiple locations
Using GPS to run route in a timely and efficient manner
Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, etc., in a courteous and efficient manner.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting and driving.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to pass a drug screening test.
