Class A CDL Truck Driver – Johnstown & Syracuse, NY

Position Details:
Hiring Areas: Syracuse, Johnstown, Albany, NY
Route: Slip seat 5-6 days a week
Home Time: Home daily (option to discuss)
Experience Requirements: Trainees & First Seat (Experienced)
Freight Type: No-touch freight, live unload
Unload Pay: No touch freight
Weekend Work: Yes
Pay & Benefits:
Mileage Pay + Stop Pay
Short Haul Pay: $25 for loads under 50 miles
Stop Pay: $10 for first stop, $15 per stop afterward
Weekly Miles: 1,800
Average Weekly Earnings: $1,700
Responsibilities:
Operate a CDL A tractor-trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently within designated local routes.
Conduct PTI of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Requirements:
Must have valid CDL A license
Must have clean driving record
NO SAP/DUI
Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screening
