Regional CDL-A Truck Driver – Great Lakes Fleet | Manteno, IL
Now hiring CDL-A drivers, including new grads, for regional runs within a 500-mile radius of Chicago. Get steady miles, weekly home time, and top-tier support in a busy, reliable fleet
Position Highlights:
Average Weekly Pay: $1,500
Miles: ~2,200 per week
Home Time: 34-hour restarts at home
CPM Pay Plan: Great Lakes Regional (GLR) package
Stop Pay: $15 per stop
Bonus: Swift Driver Performance Bonus (based on performance metrics)
Freight Type: Dry Van
Live Load / Unload
Drop & Hook
Preloaded trailers
No touch freight unloading required
Schedule & Lane Info:
Runs throughout IL, IN, and WI
Regional freight within a 500-mile radius of Chicago
Day and Night Shifts Available
Weekend Work Required
Holiday Work: As needed
No seasonal slowdowns – steady year-round freight
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL
Must live within 500 miles of Manteno, IL (60950)
Accepting both experienced drivers and recent CDL graduates
No endorsements required
Safe driving record and strong work ethic
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a tractor-trailer on regional routes
Complete on-time deliveries and communicate with dispatch
Perform routine pre- and post-trip inspections
Follow all DOT and company safety guidelines
Handle paperwork and electronic logs accurately
