CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver – Weekend Home Time | $1,800 Weekly

We’re hiring Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated regional position in the Chesapeake, VA area. This opportunity combines consistent freight, competitive weekly earnings, and weekend home time. Both trainees and experienced drivers may be considered.
Pay & Compensation
- Average weekly earnings of $1,800
- $0.90 per mile
- $250 unload pay per load
- $100 bonus pay
- $20 stop pay
- $40 short-haul pay
- Approximately 1,000 miles per week
- Paid weekly
Schedule & Home Time
- Full-time dedicated position
- Home every weekend
- Day and night driving available
- Regional dedicated routes
- Consistent freight and scheduled runs
Freight & Unloading
- Dry van freight
- Live unloads
- Full hand unloading required
- Driver handles unloading at delivery locations
- Some stops may require maneuvering and backing in tight areas
Driver Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years or older
- Trainees may be considered
- First-seat experienced drivers welcome
- Comfortable with full hand unloading
- Willing to work nights and weekends
- Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
Driver Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Unload freight at customer locations
- Maintain accurate ELD logs
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Safely maneuver equipment at delivery locations
- Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, loads, and deliveries
