Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Shipping Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our e-commerce operations.
Responsibilities
Support the daily Functions of New Model Shipping and Receiving
Investigate packaging methods for shipments and gather updated data for current packaging matrix.
Collaborate with Business Development to assist with packaging design and data collection.
Prepare packaging for shipments to our customers and complete shipment processes.
Maintain material supply and databases
Prepare and send customs related documents for overseas shipments.
Stay up to data on all current changes to tariffs and paperwork requirements
Assist Shipping/Receiving to ship all freight and receive incoming parts
Train in all aspects of shipping and warehousing to understand processes and assist as needed
Skills
Strong Computer Skills.
Must have prior experience working with UPS and FedEx software
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Prior Experience with Tariffs and customers documentation.
Must have effective organizational and time management skills
Prior forklift experience, able to pass forklift training course.
Must be willing to work overtime
