Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Multifamily Kitchen Cabinet Project Coordinator to manage the design, coordination, and installation process of kitchen and vanity cabinetry across large-scale multifamily and commercial construction projects.
This role requires hands-on experience with Chief Architect or similar design software, the ability to manage Procore documentation, and a working understanding of cabinet manufacturing, logistics, and on-site installation requirements. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital liaison between the design team, field operations, vendors, and general contractors to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely project execution..
Responsibilities
Develop and manage detailed kitchen and bath cabinet layouts using Chief Architect.
Review architectural plans and translate them into shop drawings, cut sheets, and installation documents.
Coordinate project documentation and RFIs through Procore.
Prepare field packets with final installation layouts, cut sheets, hardware specs, and delivery/installation schedules.
Conduct virtual and on-site field verifications as needed.
Manage punch lists and coordinate resolution of installation issues or deficiencies.
Communicate directly with GCs, field supers, and internal project managers to track milestones and delivery schedules.
Oversee final design approval, including appliance coordination, hardware selection, and finish confirmation.
Track cabinet production and freight status in coordination with the purchasing and logistics team.
Support internal and subcontracted installers with up-to-date plans and technical support.
Coordinate with clients and ownership teams to meet design standards, construction schedules, and project budgets.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in cabinet/kitchen design, preferably in multifamily or commercial construction.
Proficiency in Chief Architect (or similar CAD design tool).
Familiarity with Procore or equivalent construction project management platform.
Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, materials, and installation processes.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 – $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
