OVERVIEW
The Motor Vehicle Driver is responsible for managing the transit of shipments between internal and external customers at various locations.
MAIN TASKS
· Delivery of parts to internal and external customers at various locations, as per Delivery Schedule.
· Completion of daily delivery reports prior to end of shift with submission to Warehouse Supervisor.
· To collect and inspect goods from local suppliers for delivery to receiving locations.
· To load and unload vehicles while securing loads to prevent damage during transit.
· Participation in stock count preparations inclusive of mid-year and year-end stock counts.
· To obtain necessary signatures and receipts for deliveries ensuring complete paperwork is returned to the relevant dispatcher upon completion.
· Conduct daily and weekly 5S patrols and reports as per 5S program.
· Adherence to all traffic rules and regulations to ensure that road accidents are avoided with the laws and regulation of Trinidad and Tobago.
· To perform daily vehicle safety inspection checklists.
· Compliance with all the organization’s SOP, policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
· Three (3) CXC passes.
· Three (3) three years driving experience.
· Valid (Class 3 & 4) permit.
· Defense driving certification
· Customer service skills.
