Role Description The Middle Mile Account Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for coordinating middle-mile logistics activities, including managing shipments between distribution centers, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery. The coordinator will handle day-to-day account management tasks, such as monitoring performance metrics, resolving service issues, and maintaining accurate documentation in internal systems. The role involves regular communication with customers, warehouse teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders to align expectations and address operational challenges. The Middle Mile Account Coordinator will also support process improvements, contribute to data analysis for route optimization, and help strengthen long-term customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Account Management skills to support client accounts and resolve issues effectively.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills to collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, track KPIs, and support operational improvements.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with MS Office and logistics management or warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
