Job summary/Objective of Job
The Differential Production Fork Truck Driver is responsible for providing excellent service to the rebuilders, wraps and locates units in a timely manner. A successful candidate must have outstanding customer service skills and a positive can-do attitude. They also must be a self-motivated, self-directed team player with social interaction skills, great communication with other team members great attention to detail, can follow processes and work well within guidelines and procedures.
Summary of essential job functions:
Supply needs for Differential rebuilders and those that are involved with building stock – signaled by “Red Lights” (this includes grabbing skids off of the shelf, bringing racks to and from the wash or blast machine, moving skids on the floor around, etc.)
Wrap, band, & weigh truck freight Differentials and bring to truck freight staging area.
Wrap up “VTP delivery” & “Customer job” Differentials and bring them to dispatch.
Grab units from the Diff check station and put them in the correct area based on paperwork and tags.
Wrap stock Differentials and put them on the shelf with a location scanned with the scanner.
Keep the Diff check stations stocked full of empty skids.
Wraps, bands, weighs, & double check tags on the PDC units coming from the diff check station and put them on the correct PDC shelf.
Wraps, bands, & double check tags on Sadler units and from the diff check station and put them on the correct shelf.
Wrap and band the satellite stores units coming from the diff check station (W2/W3/W4/W5/W7) and put them on the correct transfer shelf or dock.
Sweeping and cleaning the unit warehouse in free time.
Qualifications
Must have strong attention to detail.
Accuracy in a fast-paced environment required.
Strong math and computer skills.
Ability to break through barriers and investigate and resolve problems.
Possess good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Forklift certification or the ability to obtain
