Master Scheduler/Customer Service Rep

Responsibilities

· Process customer and supplier releases (830 and 862).

· Analyze customer and supplier daily and weekly MRP data to proactively identify issues that may impact supply chain performance measures (such as premium freight, part availability, inventory days on hand, inventory adjustments, downtime, packaging shortages, etc.).

· Manage inventory by performing cycle counts and investigating and resolving discrepancies to avoid material shortages.

· Manage engineering changes and build schedules with suppliers and production so that customer expectations are met while minimizing obsolescence exposure.

· Support Program Management with any engineering changes and/or new launches.

· Review ASN report daily to ensure receiving accuracy and timeliness of receipt entry into the inventory system.

· Act as liaison with internal/external suppliers and customers regarding part release information, weekly accum reconciliation, and the resolution of issues that may arise.

· Communicate and resolve shipment discrepancies with the supplier to ensure a continuous supply of material. Communicate any potential material issues to the management team via the Escalation process.

· Track freight plans for all applicable modes to support production requirements as necessary. Lead follow-up efforts to ensure the plan develops as originally established and communicate those updates to the Materials Manager.

· Track and submit premium freight approvals.

· Coordinate expedites of material from suppliers as needed to support the production schedule and meet customer requirements.

· Monitor and update customer systems as required by the customer.

· Participate in PFEP meetings and responsible for ensuring ERP settings match the PFEP, as defined.

· Prepare performance data and reports as required to support the companies’ goals and objectives.

· Assist the Materials Manager with developing and conducting the physical inventory plan.

· Monitor and maintain the communication boards.

· Interface with Ford CMMS (bailed components) to conduct follow-up activities (where applicable).

· Conduct floor walks to identify waste, support continuous improvement, and resolve operational issues.

· Establish visual inventory parameters that will support 5S (storage, labeling, min/max) on the plant floor.

· Ensure compliance with all safety procedures.

· Back up another Master Scheduler as needed.

· Provide corrective action plans to the Materials Manager for any issues that are adversely impacting the materials department performance measures.

· Assist in materials training and development.

· Support Floor team as needed.

· Enter “Bill of Material” updates into ERP.

· Maintain materials in MRO cage.

· Maintain container packaging with the OEM.

· Support Prototype builds as needed.

· Entering new part numbers in Plex and routing BOMs

· Coordinating new model builds

· Scheduling builds and tracking new model parts

· Provide PLEX training for new hires.

· Main point of contact on-site

· Manage Change management with the Program Team.

· Additional Responsibilities as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
