We are looking for a Maritime Agent to join one of our partner companies and support the coordination and execution of port and vessel operations!
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate vessel operations with port authorities, terminals, clients, and other relevant parties.
- Monitor vessel arrival, berthing, loading, discharging, and departure processes.
- Maintain effective communication with vessel masters, shipowners, charterers, clients, and relevant authorities throughout operations.
- Handle port formalities, permits, and required operational documentation.
- Provide clients with timely updates and regular operational reports.
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are kept informed.
- Support the preparation and follow-up of invoices, operational expenses, and related documentation.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in compliance with company procedures, health & safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain a professional and service-oriented approach to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Conduct vessel, port, and terminal visits when required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maritime, shipping, port agency, or vessel operations is preferred.
- Good understanding of port and vessel operational processes.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple operational processes and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized approach to documentation and follow-up.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Comfortable working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility to support operations outside standard working hours when required.
