Position Summary:
The core responsibility of Regional Sales Manager focuses on retention and driving new business. You are an inspirational leader, results oriented and performance driven. Your approach is hands-on and believe in coaching in the field. You are an advocate of the company and your team and know how to work across channels to ensure every need is addressed. Your second nature is to prioritize, and act based on your leadership and sales intuition and experience. You are competitive and thrive in a fast-paced environment with large goals and ambiguity.
Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on the mid-sized accounts selling our suite of services
Reinforce and improve upon our current sales model, including but not limited to, training productivity metrics, and performance management
Proactively identify and drive initiatives to increase new business development and account retention
Analyze sales activities to understand and optimize trends and patterns
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
Provide detailed analysis and performance reviews on the sales team’s performance
Effectively collaborate with other departments to achieve success
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Sales/Marketing or related field, or MBA, preferred
Experience in a similar role managing a remote high-performing sales team
Experience within the logistics/transportation industry-ideal
Strong understanding of pipeline management and new business development best practices
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office Suite
Ability to identify gaps and offer solutions to problems and growth opportunities
Bonus points if you have a network of superstar sales professionals that would follow your leadership
