Position Overview

The Defiant Ones is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager of Supply Chain Logistics to oversee the movement, tracking, and coordination of finished goods, raw materials, and components across the company’s supply chain network.

This role is responsible for managing domestic and international shipping operations, inventory movement, logistics coordination, compliance documentation, and vendor/carrier communication to ensure products are delivered on time and in full. The position will work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Sales Support, warehouses, distributors, copackers, and external logistics partners to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, solutions-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly evolving business environment.

This is a full-time remote position reporting to Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Logistics Management

  • Manage the shipment and receipt of finished goods, raw materials, packaging components, and operational supplies across domestic and international channels
  • Coordinate logistics activities with vendors, copackers, warehouses, distributors, and freight carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective product movement
  • Oversee shipping schedules, carrier selection, routing coordination, and fulfillment timelines
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery performance

Inventory & Operational Coordination

  • Support inventory accuracy through shipment verification, reconciliation, and documentation review
  • Coordinate inventory transfers and product movement between warehouses, distributors, and production partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Service, Sales Support, and Leadership teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain operational tracking tools, shipment records, inventory reports, and logistics documentation

Compliance & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation including bills of lading, invoices, customs documentation, shipping labels, and compliance records
  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations, alcohol beverage industry requirements, and company traceability standards
  • Maintain accurate records for inventory movement, shipment tracking, and audit readiness

Vendor & Carrier Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for logistics vendors, freight providers, and warehouse partners
  • Troubleshoot shipping delays, damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, and carrier-related issues
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, communication, and operational processes

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Monitor logistics performance metrics including delivery timelines, inventory accuracy, freight coordination, and fulfillment efficiency
  • Assist in developing scalable operational processes to support company growth
  • Provide regular operational updates and reporting to leadership

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, shipping/receiving, operations management, or related fields
  • Experience coordinating domestic and international shipping operations
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational data management
  • Experience working with ERP systems, inventory management systems, or warehouse management platforms preferred
  • Experience within the alcohol beverage, beverage, food manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners

Compensation & Structure

  • Target annual compensation: Approximately $80,000-100,000, commensurate with experience
  • Full-time remote position
  • Reports directly to Operations with close collaboration across Customer Service and Sales Support functions
