Manager of Restaurant Sales and Service Jobs in Trenton, USA at Team Four Foodservice
We are seeking an ambitious, self-starting sales focused individual who will manage independent restaurants in our Restaurant Sales and Service division. This individual will be responsible for building and managing key member/vendor relationships while driving long-term growth and retention. This candidate needs to be an innovative thinker, driven to generate results around sales growth, revenue and new membership while having the ability to work independently.
Candidates with strong problem-solving skills, great relationship management, high sense of urgency and solid technology & business acumen will excel in this role. Please note this position will service the New York Metro area and a 150-mile radius of that area.
Duties
- Cultivate customer relationships with current customer groups on the independent restauranteur side
- Coordinate rebate programs with manufacturers & vendors
- Coordinate LTO promotions with manufacturers on behalf of customers
- Market programs with manufacturers to drive customer participation and increased member savings
- Support members to understand the program and maximize savings opportunities
- Responsible for new business development, increased account penetration, and new market growth
- Prepare and execute customer business reviews
- Liaison between customer and manufacturer
- Coordinate new programs with manufacturers
- Support distributor shows as a representative of our members
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years food service account management sales background with a concentration on managing large, multi-unit groups of independent restaurants
- Strong relationship history with broker vendor community
- Food service procurement experience with strong product knowledge
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to use insights and analytics to drive strategy and decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to travel as needed to customer meetings, business reviews, trade shows, miscellaneous customer requests.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing
