Position: Â [lta-s&c] Deputy / Assistant Road System Safety
** What the role is*
* DEPUTY / ASSISTANT ROAD SYSTEM SAFETY MANAGER
** What you will be working on*
* You will play an important role in enhancing safety of road users in new road and rail projects undertaken by LTA. You will lead in the audits on road systems projects at relevant project stages and provide technical advices to project team on a wide range of road safety issues. You will be involved in carrying out research on best international road safety practices, conducting courses to share safety knowledge, contributing news articles to promote
safety awareness
and the enhancement to safety management processes.
In addition, you will provide technical input to a wide range of road safety projects.
** What we are looking for*
* – Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or Traffic Engineering
– Good command of English
– Effective writing and presentation skills
– Ability to work well in a team with good interpersonal and
communication skills
– Analytical, resourceful, self-motivated and diligent
– Knowledge in AutoCAD and specialised traffic modelling softwares and/or practical experience in road design, traffic management and road safety engineering is preferred
– Possess a Class 3 driving licence will be an advantage
