Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Truck Driver with a minimum of two years of professional driving experience to join our dynamic logistics team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, across diverse routes. As a key player in our transportation operations, you will ensure the safe, timely delivery of freight while adhering to all federal and state regulations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about driving and logistics, this position is perfect for you!ResponsibilitiesSafely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, on over-the-road (OTR) routes.Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries.Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials and dangerous goods in compliance with Hazardous Materials Regulations.Transport various types of freight such as refrigerated goods, automobile transportation, and other cargo while maintaining the integrity of the load.Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations to ensure safety standards are met at all times.Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations.Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues that arise during routes.QualificationsMinimum of two years’ professional experience as a commercial truck driver with a proven track record in route driving and freight delivery.Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type operated; manual transmission experience preferred.Experience operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized equipment is highly desirable.Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient delivery execution.Familiarity with hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) and dangerous goods handling is a plus.Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and safety protocols for commercial truck driving.Ability to load and unload freight manually or using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety standards.Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, manual handling proficiency, and attention to detail.Join us today to be part of a dedicated team committed to safe driving excellence!
