Job Purpose:

To manage and coordinate all operational procedures related to export and import shipments by sea and air. Ensure smooth communication with customers, agents, and internal departments, while maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle the complete operational process for both export and import shipments, including sea and air freight.

Liaise with shipping lines and agents to obtain the most competitive rates and ensure timely quotations to overseas partners.

Respond promptly and professionally to all customer and overseas agent inquiries.

Communicate effectively with customers and overseas agents to ensure that all shipment-related requirements are met.

Book vessel space with carriers and monitor loading schedules to ensure cargo is shipped as planned.

Coordinate with direct shippers to confirm cargo readiness and alignment with the shipping schedule at the agreed rate.

Prepare and process all relevant documentation such as Bill of Lading, invoices, delivery orders, etc., and dispatch to the responsible parties.

Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments including Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure end-to-end service.

Issue pre-advices to customers and ensure timely return of required documents.

Understand cost and charge structures to maintain competitiveness and accurate rate application.

Verify invoices and billings from/to customers and vendors in accordance with the companys credit and payment policies.

Comply strictly with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Internal Operating Procedures (IOP) for each assigned customer.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations (sea and air).

Good command of English (spoken and written).

Strong coordination and communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.

Knowledge of international shipping documentation and customs procedures is an advantage.
