Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Team Leader to join our team and lead logistics operations with a strong focus on Transportation & Distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily transportation and distribution operations.
- Plan and coordinate transportation activities to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Manage distribution schedules, routes, and fleet utilization.
- Monitor delivery performance, service levels, and operational KPIs.
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, transporters, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions to minimize delays and costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Analyze logistics performance and prepare regular operational reports.
- Lead and develop the logistics team to achieve operational targets.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize transportation and distribution processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8 years of relevant experience in Logistics, with strong experience in Transportation & Distribution.
- Proven experience in leading and supervising logistics teams.
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning, distribution operations, route optimization, and fleet management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
