We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Logistics/Warehouse Associate to join our clients team in a permanent capacity. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing company inventory, overseeing shipment processes, fulfilling internal and external item requests, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of company inventory and stock levels.
Shipment Tracking: Monitor and document all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Order Fulfillment: Process requests for inventory items, ensuring accuracy and promptness in delivery or shipment.
Shipping Labels: Generate and process shipping labels to prepare orders for dispatch.
Custody of Orders: Take responsibility for the safe handling, organization, and tracking of orders within the warehouse.
Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with sales teams to identify inventory needs and anticipate customer demand.
Warehouse Audits: Conduct regular audits of inventory to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently unload and load shipments as they arrive or depart.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping, logistics, or warehouse role.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 lbs unaided.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed records.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments effectively.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot, resolve issues efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities.
