Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support international logistics operations, including the export of raw materials and finished goods. This role will coordinate closely with freight forwarders, manufacturing sites, quality teams, finance, and regulatory partners to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant global shipments. The ideal candidate will have experience in international logistics, export documentation, transportation coordination, and process improvement. This individual should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable analyzing data to improve supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Export Order Processing
- Coordinate international export shipments, including raw materials and finished goods.
- Communicate with global partners, customers, and internal teams to schedule shipments and resolve export-related issues.
- Collaborate with manufacturing sites to ensure customer delivery timelines are met.
- Ensure required export documentation is completed accurately and supports customs clearance requirements.
- Work with freight forwarders to identify cost-effective transportation solutions while maintaining service levels.
- Validate shipment documentation and ensure compliance with applicable export regulations.
- Maintain and report export shipping metrics, shipment status, and product/customer tracking information.
- Monitor orders in transit and provide updates to internal stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Analysis
- Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
- Evaluate transportation methods and recommend improvements to optimize international shipping processes.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, government regulations, and international trade requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within global logistics operations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support transfer pricing activities and provide logistics data to finance teams.
- Maintain customer, product, compliance, and shipment databases.
- Monitor inventory availability and order status to support customer demand.
- Assist with special shipments, samples, and international product transfers.
Required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in global transportation, international logistics, customer service, inventory management, or warehousing.
- Experience supporting international export processes and documentation.
- Knowledge of supply chain operations and global transportation practices.
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
