The Role 🎯
We're hiring a Logistics Specialist at the junior to intermediate level — and no, this isn't a data entry job.
You'll own shipments end-to-end: quoting, booking, problem-solving, closing. It's a good fit if you like making decisions in real time, negotiating, and figuring things out on the fly.
What You'll Do 🔥
- 💬 Negotiate freight rates with carriers (TL and LTL, domestic and cross-border)
- 🤝 Source carriers and build long-term relationships
- ⚡ Respond to spot quotes quickly and accurately
- 📦 Manage shipments from pickup through delivery
- 🛠️ Handle delays, claims, and breakdowns as they happen
- 📊 Work with leadership on pricing strategy and proposals
- 📈 Track market trends and competitor pricing
- 💸 Improve margins through smarter execution
What We're Looking For 💡
Required:
- 0–3 years in logistics, dispatch, brokerage, or transportation
- Working knowledge of truckload and LTL operations
- Strong phone and email communication
- Ability to juggle multiple shipments and prioritize under pressure
- Problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership
Nice to have:
- Background in business or logistics
